Hi - I am writing about this painting by Walter Langley - The Morning Post. We purchased this painting some years ago from a local dealer near St Ives and we were assured by him and varified by the Langley family that this work is in fact called The Letter. Any info to dispute this would be interesting.
The Newlyn School is a term used to describe a colony of artists based in or near to Newlyn, a fishing village adjacent to Penzance, Cornwall, from the 1880s until the early 20th century.
